We’ve all had a blast experimenting with Leica’s most novel camera this year, the Leica Sofort 2. It’s neither complex nor expensive, but there’s a certain charm in using a camera that reminds you of the simplicity we all started with in photography. At some point, we all used that point-and-shoot camera or simply a phone, capturing random moments from our daily lives until we transitioned to a more advanced tool. The SOFORT 2 is all about returning to the basics, and in our opinion, it’s a lot of fun.

Join Carlo, along with Bay Area photographers Brian Tran and JP Calma, as they test the new Leica Sofort 2 by shooting some film, testing the special effects, and generally having a good time with a minimalistic camera. The SOFORT 2 brings back the simple joy of snapping a photo and then holding that photo in your hands, showing it to friends or even trading them with other photographers.
