As we bid farewell to 2023 and heading to the 10 years of Leica Store San Francisco, it is with great honor that we have the photographer, educator, and our 5-years anniversary workshop instructor and a good friend of the gallery, Darcy Padilla back to San Francisco!
In this exhibition The weight of time, not only will Darcy present her renowned project, “Family Love,” but also treat us to over 20 photographs never before exhibited to the public. Concurrent with the introduction of “The weight of time,” Leica Store San Francisco organized a photography-intensive workshop centered on the art of visual storytelling during the weekend. The workshop provided participants with opportunities to engage in exercises emphasizing editing and sequencing with skillfully integrated text, imagery, and design.
